Subjects:
All areas of examination are covered, with graded assessments. In
addition, fully comprehensive notes are given, with sample answers
provided. Each student will have the opportunity to take a full mock
oral exam.
About the Course tutor:
Clare
Grealy is a graduate of UCD where she obtained a B.A. in Irish and
Politics, and is also a graduate of Kings Inns (barrister-at-Law). Clare
joined The Institute of Education on a full-time basis in 2001 and has
over 20 years experience of teaching Irish to Higher Level Leaving
Certificate standard.
She has contributed to both Irish
Independent Exam Brief Supplements and RTE exam programmes. She has also
assisted in researching The Irish Language and has helped in the
translation of a number of texts into Irish.
She is co-author of
“Ar an Taobh Eile den Scamall”, a novel which won second prize at t-An
Oireachtas 2003. Throughout her teaching career, she has also been
instrumental in teaching Irish to a vast number of various nationalities
who have to study Irish.
