- An application form is completed and returned to our International Office along with transcripts of results to date from High School or final High School Results. An English translation must be provided. All documents should be notarised. An application may be assessed using faxes, scanned copies or photocopies of any of the above. Offers are made based on sighting of original documents provided on arrival in Ireland.
Click Here for the application form.
- An Offer Letter is issued based on the information provided. This process normally takes 3-5 days. Applicants are emailed or faxed with an offer letter along with details of fees, refund policy and visa information. Once the applicant approves the offer letter and confirms a postal address, by email or fax, the original is sent by swift post. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery.
- All fees are paid in full and in advance either by bank draft or by transfer to the bank account details provided with the offer letter.
- A Final Acceptance letter is issued when all fees have been paid in full: three copies are sent to the applicant’s postal address. The student uses this letter to apply for an Irish Study Visa.
- Once the Irish Study Visa has been approved, the student contacts the International Office notifying us of arrival details. This should be sent at least two weeks prior to arrival in Ireland in order that accommodation and medical insurance can be arranged.
- Accommodation is arranged with a host family for the first four weeks; the students will be notified of the arrangements prior to departure for Ireland. These accommodation costs are paid in advance along with tuition fees and the same refund policies apply. In addition the amount paid is non-refundable, should the student choose not to stay for the 4 week duration.
- Medical Insurance is arranged by the college for those travelling to Ireland for the first time; cover will begin from the arrival date in Ireland. It is the student’s responsibility to renew medical insurance cover for each subsequent year. Medical insurance is a requirement for the Irish Study Visa and therefore must also be paid in advance.
Closing date for applications:
For those applying from outside Ireland, please allow sufficient time for visa processing - check with the Irish Embassy of your home country for the latest visa processing times).
For those applying in Ireland, and who do not require further English language tuition, applications are accepted up to the start of the Academic Year, the first or second week in September.
