The Institute of Education's 6th Year full-time Day School is for first time and repeat Leaving Certificate students.

6th Year is a challenging nine months for any student, but if you have the drive and motivation to attain excellence then we’ll support you every step of the way.

Exceptional tuition, constant academic mentoring, study skills seminars, career guidance and a dedicated student welfare officer all enable our students to cope with the demands that are being made of them and reach their full potential.

Information Evenings are held throughout the year for prospective 6th Year students and their parents who are interested in finding out more about the full-time 6th Year Day School at The Institute of Education.

These events allow you to learn more about our unique approach to preparing for the Leaving Certificate, meet some of our teachers and discuss school life with current and past pupils.
